A man, who was been arrested after four people, including a baby girl, were killed when a car left the A38 near Derby and crashed into trees, has been bailed.
Emergency services were called to the stretch between the A50 Toyota Island and the A516 at around 11pm on Saturday 25 July.
Derbyshire Police said a red Hyundai, carrying five people, had left the carriageway.
Two women, aged 18 and 30, and a 36-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene.
A baby girl was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
All four were passengers in the car and were from Leeds in West Yorkshire.
The driver, a 33-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains there.
He has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Derbyshire Police later confirmed that the man who was arrested had been bailed.
The victims’ relatives have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The A38 was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the crash but has since reopened.
Police are appealing for witnesses and want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage that may have captured the incident.
