ITV Love Island bosses have issued a huge update about next season as the live final is just hours away.
Season 13 has brought with it plenty of twists and turns over the last few weeks, from fiery exchanges to bombshell arrivals and many tears.
Just last night (July 26) former Islanders returned to have their say on who they thought did not deserve a place in the final.
Mica and Samraj received the highest number of votes, meaning they were forced to say their goodbyes, missing out on a spot in the final. In a never-before-seen twist, they were tasked with sending another pair home, with their decision set to be aired tonight (July 27).

With the live final and crowning of the 2026 winners just hours away, a huge update has been shared ahead of next year.
Already, applications are open, as show bosses are looking for potential Islanders for Season 14.
Lifted Casting took to Instagram to share a post captioned: “All future Islanders please step forward. Applications for series 14 are now open! Head to @liftedcasting to apply.”
The post has been liked over 47,000 times as the show looks towards another explosive season.
It was previously reported that anyone can apply for the show; all you need to do is head over to the ITV applications page and fill out your details.
The application process explains: “ITV2 & ITVX are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who are looking for love in the sun!
“The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island. If you think you’ve got what it takes, then we want to hear from you!”

Applicants must fill out a form with details about themselves as well as an audition tape, with former Islanders previously referencing the interview rounds, with many stating “you’re not in the villa until you’re in the villa”.
Ahead of the new season, many viewers have urged bosses to cast regular people rather than “influencers”.
On X, one person penned: “Okay so next year I need girls who can think for themselves and NO INFLUENCERS PLS for the love of god.”
Another commented: “Producers need to stop bringing in friends or family of influencers/celebrities. It’s so boring to watch. Bring in normal people with normal lives.”
