Tony Clark achieved the feat on the fourth hole during the opening nine-hole competition, marking a notable start to the weekend’s events.
A respected and long-standing member of Crook Golf Club, Tony Clark is one of the club’s most “popular” captains in recent years.
Achieving a hole-in-one is said to always be “a special achievement,” but to do it at the start of the captain’s own event marked what looked to be a memorable weekend for golf.
The festivities continued on Saturday with a two-man scramble, and the event wrapped up on Sunday with the Captain’s Day 4BBB competition.
