Carrigan shone in Dublin to defeat Irish opponent Sean Murray.
The 19-year-old sealed the win in the third round when the young Cumbrian overpowered his opponent from Navan.
Carrigan had already knocked Murray down with a quickfire combination when, after the Irish boxer survived a standing eight count, the Carlisle boxer sealed the deal with some relentless punching that downed Murray a second time.
The referee at that point called an end to the contest, the stoppage a minute and 31 seconds into round three continuing Carrigan’s impressive unbeaten start to professional life.
The former Border City Amateur Boxing Club star was on the card at the Queensberry Promotions ‘No Turning Back’ show at Dublin’s 3Arena.
His TKO (technical knock-out) win over Murray followed previous confident displays to defeat Dawid Przybylski, Danny Costello and Harley Hodgetts by the highly-rated Carrigan.

The Cumbrian, nicknamed ‘Star Boy’, turned pro last year after a title-strewn amateur career, which included the World Under-19 title as well as a host of other European, national and regional titles.
Carrigan, as he turned pro, was snapped up by Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, while he is managed by the legendary American, Shelly Finkel.
The Carlisle boxer, from Todhills, trains at Tenacity in Hartlepool.
