The 18-year-old, who can operate as a No.6 or a No.8 in the middle of the park, comes into an experienced Seagulls midfield that contains the likes of Jacob Jagger Cane, Scot Bennett and Liam Sercombe.
Louie has been with Bristol City since the age of 14 after featuring for the youth team of hometown club Portishead Town, and has since captained their Under-18s and Under-21s.
Signing his first professional deal in October 2025 while still a second-year scholar, he helped City’s U18s win the Professional Development League National title in May 2025.
The teenager has also featured in numerous friendlies for City’s First-Team across the past two pre-seasons, and was an unused substitute for them twice in the Championship during 2025-2026.
On signing, Louie said:
This will be good for me, getting out and seeing what men’s football is all about.
“I’ll be looking to get in the team, contribute and get as many minutes as possible”.
Manager Scott Rogers said:
Louie’s going to be a good signing for us.
“We went and watched Bristol City play the other day and he has bags of energy.
“He trained today (Tuesday) and did really good, this will be a good loan for Bristol City to get him out playing early in his career and I think it will do him the world of good.
“He’ll do well for us”.
During his time with the club, Louie will wear the No.16 out on the pitch.
We would like to welcome Louie to Weston-super-Mare AFC, and wish him all the best when pulling on the Seagulls shirt.
