Universal supplier form opens ahead of major Bedfordshire development

Businesses interested in supplying goods and services to Universal Destinations & Experiences’ proposed Bedfordshire development are being encouraged to complete a new supplier interest form as the project moves forward.

The Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce, through its BedX programme, is urging businesses to submit the updated form, even if they previously registered their interest through an earlier supplier registration process.

The new form requests more detailed information about businesses and the goods and services they could provide, helping Universal build a more comprehensive picture of potential suppliers. While previous registrations have been retained, the Chamber is encouraging businesses to complete the updated form to ensure their latest business and contact information is included.

Justin Richardson, chief executive of Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “This is another important step in helping businesses position themselves for the opportunities the proposed Universal development could create. We would encourage companies of all sizes to complete the new supplier form so Universal has the most up-to-date information about their business and the products or services they can offer.

“Through BedX, we’re committed to helping businesses understand the opportunities available, prepare for future procurement processes and make the right connections as the project develops.”

Universal is also expected to host business engagement events to help companies understand how to work with the organisation and prepare for future supply chain opportunities. The Bedfordshire Chamber said it will share further details as they become available.

Businesses completing the form through the Chamber are also being encouraged to select Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce in the Industry Group Affiliation section.

BedX is the Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce’s initiative to help businesses identify supply chain opportunities, prepare for major investment projects and connect with buyers and Tier 1 contractors.
