Lyz Hall faces a total of 15 charges relating to the treatment of more than 300 birds and animals.

The 46-year-old, of Shortthorn Road, Stratton Strawless, is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on August 25.
It comes after police, assisted by the RSPCA, carried out a raid at Hallswood Animal Sanctuary, near Norwich, on September 16, 2024.

Several animals were seized under Section 18 of the Animal Welfare Act during the raid.
The incident caused Hall to step down from her role as the director of the sanctuary at the time.
Two charges relate to causing unnecessary suffering to animals and three further charges relate to failing to meet the welfare needs of animals.
Hall also faces four charges linked to invasive non-native species including the keeping and release or escape of grey squirrels and muntjac deer.
She has also been charged with possessing wild birds.
A further five charges relate to veterinary medicines and drugs, including the possession of unauthorised veterinary medicines, possession and use of veterinary products without authority, administering an injurious substance to protected animals, and possession of controlled drugs – namely a Class A drug (Oramorph) and a Class C drug (Diazepam).
