Despite Wigan Warriors picking up two more bans at the latest disciplinary verdict, they only sit second among Super League clubs for penalty charges with Hull KR leading the way on that unwanted stat.
The Robins do not have the most penalty charges in Super League, though. That record goes to Catalans Dragons (28), however, the grading and severity of Hull KR’s 26 charges mean they boast a whopping 119 penalty points.
Under the current disciplinary format, players are handed charges graded A through F, with each grade carrying a separate points tally. They are as follows: Grade A – 1 point, Grade B – 3 points, Grade C – 5 points, Grade D – 12 points, Grade E – 18 points, and Grade F – 36 points.
Across the season, Hull KR have picked up a total of 14 Grade A charges, six Grade B charges, three Grade C charges, two Grade E charges, and one Grade F charge.
The two Grade E charges and one Grade F charge account for a whopping 72 of their penalty points, with Tevita Pangai Jr , who returned from his six-match ban against Catalans Dragons on Thursday.

Which Super League clubs have the most penalty points?
Wigan Warriors are the only team that come close to Hull KR’s penalty point total, and that is also by merit of two Grade E charges, one of which came in the Challenge Cup Final against the Robins.
Wigan’s 25 charges total 110 penalty points, with Matt Peet’s side most recently seeing Sam Walters and Brad O’Neill banned for their respective Grade B and Grade C charges in the win over Toulouse.
As referenced above, it’s Catalans Dragons who boast the most charges with 28 across the 22 rounds of Super League so far, although over half of those charges are just Grade As. They recently saw Franck Maria banned for four matches thanks to his Grade E charge, their first such misdemeanour in 2026.
Only York Knights, Wakefield Trinity and Toulouse Olympique have avoided Grade E or Grade F charges, though York sit second for the most charges with 27, almost half of which are Grade B.
As for the fewest charges, Warrington have the fewest per game as they sit at 16 after just 21 games, whereas Castleford and Hull FC both have 15 through 22 games.
Despite that, Hull FC still rank among the top three for most penalty points courtesy of the Grade F charge handed to Yusuf Aydin, worth 36 points, and taking the Black and Whites’ season tally to 94.
