Another warehouse belonging to Russia’s largest online retailer has been struck by Ukraine as Kyiv intensifies its attacks deep inside its neighbour’s territory, ITV News’ Amy Lewis reports
Ukraine struck Russia with hundreds of drones on Sunday, killing at least six people in one of Kyiv’s largest aerial attacks of the war.
Meanwhile, a Russian missile attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih killed two people and wounded 14 others, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Three other deaths from Russian strikes on Sunday have also been confirmed elsewhere in Ukraine.
Russia’s Ministry of Defence said it had destroyed 822 Ukrainian drones overnight.
Around 600 drones were detected heading towards the Russian capital, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said, with a third destroyed over the Moscow region itself.
An 83-year-old man was killed after a Ukrainian drone struck a private home in the Moscow region, local Governor Andrey Vorobyov said.

He also confirmed that a Ukrainian attack had sparked a fire at a warehouse belonging to Russian retail giant Wildberries.
The business has been targeted by Kyiv numerous times in recent months, burning billions of pounds worth of merchandise belonging to the Russian online retail giant.
Those attacks have brought the war home to the Russian public nearly four and a half years into Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Images shared by Russian media outlets from the town of Podolsk showed columns of black smoke rising from the site.
Five people were also killed in Russia’s southwestern Rostov region, where three towns came under attack, local Governor Yury Slyusar said.

This comes as a Russian attack on Kyiv sparked fires throughout the Ukrainian capital and injured six people.“Wherever the Russians can reach with their ballistic missiles, they strike civilian infrastructure,” Zelenskyy said.
“Since this morning, air raid alerts have continued in many regions – the Russians launched another wave of drones.”
Elsewhere, Romania’s Ministry of National Defence said Sunday that a Spanish Air and Space Force F-18 fighter jet shot down a drone that had entered Romanian airspace.
The drone’s entry into the Nato member’s airspace was detected by surveillance systems at 4.44am, the ministry said, about 14.9 miles north of the eastern city of Galati near the border with Moldova.
A Spanish F-18 aircraft that was performing air policing duties “made radar contact with the target and received engagement approval,” the ministry said.
“The drone was safely shot down by the F-18 aircraft at 05.01.”
The ministry later said that drone debris was also reported in the Black Sea around 10am on Sunday
