EastEnders spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer.
EastEnders’ Priya Nandra-Hart made two major decisions tonight (20 August) after revealing that she’s pregnant in last night’s episode.
That’s not the only drama she’s struggling with at the moment, as she’s been having an affair with Max Branning, and her unaware other half Ravi Gulati has tried to take their long-running relationship to the next level by proposing to her. What is she going to do next?

In tonight’s episode, it wasn’t long before Jean Slater noticed that something was up with Priya, and she spilled the beans about her pregnancy.
“It’s complicated”, she said. “It’s a mess. I’ve booked in a termination for later today. Me and Max, we’re just meant to be a bit of fun. Not happy families.”
Jean said it was “a big decision” to make but ultimately that she needed to do “what’s right for you”, and offered to accompany her.
Priya then went to the café to talk to Max, who encouraged her to accept Ravi’s proposal.
Later on at the park, Max noticed Priya looking upset and tried to offer her support “as a mate” but she rebuffed him, telling him that he “didn’t do nice”. Their curt conversation was interrupted by Penny Branning, who started coughing up blood.

Max comforted her and stayed on the line to the emergency services until she was taken to hospital, where doctors found a blood clot.
Jean later found Priya in the market, completely shaken after what she saw happen to Penny. Jean took her to the Slater house to calm down, and she admitted that the day’s events had her wondering if a termination was the right thing to do.
In the end, she decided to go through with the pregnancy, even though it’s likely Max’s baby which would make things a lot more complicated than if it was Ravi’s.
Not only that, but she got Ravi to propose to her again and this time she accepted, telling him that the Penny incident made her realise she wants to be with him forever.
Will it be plain sailing, or will the Max affair ruin everything for the pair?
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
