The WTA Cincinnati tournament moves ahead with the Round of 16 on Wednesday. WTA Cincinnati is the last chance for the stars of women’s tennis and the rest of the field to get a taste of big-time competition before the U.S. Open. There will be tournament play next week, but on a much smaller level. The top names are in Cincinnati. After they go at each other this week, the next time they will all be in the same place is in New York for the last Major of the year. The top players are trying to test and measure their games against each other, while making final preparations for New York, grabbing ranking points and prize money along the way. Shnaider – Rybakina: 14:00 EST

H2H: 0-1

Diana Shnaider vs Elena Rybakina is one of the best matches in the WTA Cincinnati round of 16. These two met for the first time earlier this year in Stuttgart. Shnaider put up an admirable fight, but ultimately lost in straight sets. Shnaider has made at least the quarterfinals in her last two tournaments before Cincinnati. Rybakina reached the semifinals at WTA Cincinnati last year, and she would be happy to take it one step further. She’s 41-12 overall this year with two titles. 

Best Bet to Make

Rybakina is the favorite on the books, but that shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone with a pulse. What might be surprising are the odds that you can get on her winning in straight sets. We highly recommend you take Rybakina to win this match 2:0 on any number of books. The one that has the best offer right now is William Hill at 2.1 for a correct score bet. Noskova – Anisimova: 14:30 EST

Of all of tomorrow’s WTA Cincinnati matches, Linda Noskova vs Amanda Anisimova is the one that features the two players closest in the World rankings. Noskova is the No. 8 player in the World, and Anisimova is the No 10 player. That’s also about the only thing that is close between the two players right now. Anisimova is only 19-10 this year, and she has zero tournament titles. Noskova is 31-12 with two titles, including Wimbledon. The one thing Anisimova has going for her is her hardcourt record at 14-7 to Noskova’s 11-7 record on the surface. 

Best Bet to Make

Anisimova has beaten Noskova twice in their three matches, both last year, but she needed three sets to do it. That’s no surprise and shouldn’t be held against her, but I mention it to highlight that she’s likely gonna have to go three sets to beat Noskova. That’s a much higher bar to clear right from the outset than needing two sets. These two usually put on fireworks, so taking the over on 22.5 total games seems like the biggest no-brainer we could find. Wait until you find out that you can double your money at the same time!

That being said, betting on Over 23 games is a value bet for sure.

Sabalenka – Bejlek: 20:30 EST

H2H: 0-0

Aryna Sabalenka vs Sarah Bejlek is the late match for tomorrow’s round of 16 at WTA Cincinnati. Sabalenka won here in Cincinnati in 2024, reached the semifinals in both ‘23 and ‘24, plus the quarterfinals last year. That’s just her recent record here. Oh, she’s also 40-7 overall this year. Sara Bejlek is 20-14 this year, but she does have a title on hardcourt from Abu Dhabi in February. Other than that and two quarterfinal showings, she hasn’t made it past the round of 16 in her other tournaments.  

Best Bet to Make

You might be shocked to hear that Aryna Sabalenka is the favorite by more than 4.5 points. Okay, you’re probably not shocked in the slightest, but you might be wondering how you should bet on Sabalenka. They have not played before, but I don’t think Sabalenka is above beating Bejlek in 19 games or less. You can actually get a pretty decent return here. We recommend this option because it feels like the most likely of the remaining betting options.  

That being said, betting on Under 19 games is a value bet for sure.

Keys – Wang: 19:00 EST

The final match in our WTA Cincinnati round-of-16 coverage is Madison Keys vs Xiyu Wang. Keys is really showing her stuff this year. It might not show in total tournament wins, as she has only one, but she has been there at the end in six different tournaments. That is on top of the fact that she had to retire in the middle of one final, up one set already in Paris. Yes, the second set was tied 3-3, but maybe Keys holds on to win that in an alternative universe. Wang has three titles and has been in four finals, but every title was from Challenger tournaments. Her only WTA final this year was in Brescia back in June.   

Best Bet to Make

Keys is a solid favorite on the books for this match. Some books have Keys as big as a 4-1 favorite, and we don’t hate it. Keys is 7-3 in her last ten matches, but Wang is 6-4 in hers. While both players have wins over quality players, it is fair to say that Keys has the better wins and losses. We see no reason to do anything other than Keys winning 2:0 on William Hill. The return is solid, and the prediction is extremely likely.  

That being said, betting on Keys winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
