Robert Plant joined Mike Sanchez on stage in Kidderminster on August 21, videos and photographs from the performance show.

Plant made an unannounced surprise appearance at Sanchez’s show at Kidderminster Town Hall, where he joined the band for eight songs lasting more than 20 minutes.

The below video shows Plant performing songs including Led Zeppelin’s “Rock And Roll” along with Howlin’ Wolf’s “How Many More Years”, Elvis Presley’s “A Big Hunk o’ Love”, “A Mess of Blues”, “Little Sister” and “One Night” along with Lowell Fulson’s “Reconsider Baby”.

“I’d like to thank you, my dear nephew, for making me stay up so late,” Plant said to Sanchez while on stage.

Plant also mentioned while on stage that his daughter Carmen was in attendance at the show.

Plant and Sanchez have been friends for years. “Robert Plant has remained a dear friend since around 1982 when we first made contact to the sounds of Johnny Burnette´s Rock n Roll Trio and Vince Taylor & The Playboys,” Sanchez wrote on Instagram last year. “I call Robert my uncle and he calls me his baby brother!”
