“We went out to win the game but we’re a very tired team – there’s no doubt about that.
“We’ve played every week this year and we’re in a block of four games in 15 days. We’ve only got the option now to push through and keep going.
“James Batchelor has injured a hamstring, Ryan Hampshire has a broken wrist and Dean Hadley has hurt his groin. That’s what makes it tough, because we’ve already got people on the sidelines.
“The discipline was poor. There were some soft tries in the second half. Credit to Toulouse – they ran hard, played a good brand of football, asked questions and played well.”
