Jay-Z and Beyoncé are said to have returned to the region before the rapper’s upcoming UK concerts.

The music superstars are reportedly staying in the Cotswolds ahead of Jay-Z’s two shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week.

According to a report in The Sun, Jay-Z has also secured a large rehearsal space in East London as preparations continue for the performances. It is claimed he will travel between the Cotswolds and London by helicopter during the build-up to the concerts.

A source said: “It’s like the circus has come to town now Jay-Z and Beyonce have arrived. They’re staying on an estate in the Cotswolds, but Jay is rehearsing in London.

“The set-up is massive. They’ve taken over a whole unit and have blocked off a car park so Jay’s helicopter can land on the site.

“Yesterday morning there were almost 30 box vans with his crew and dancers arriving on the site. Loads of precautions have been put in place to make sure he has total privacy.”

Jay-Z is due to perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 4 and 5, his only UK dates of the year.

The concerts will mark 30 years since the release of his debut album Reasonable Doubt and 25 years since the launch of The Blueprint, his sixth studio record.

Beyoncé is also set to celebrate her birthday on the day of the first show, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of her album B’Day.

The report suggested there is speculation she could make an appearance during one of the performances.
