The museum will highlight the Moon’s influence on the mill over the weekend of September 25 to 27.
The mill, which operates using tidal power, will pay tribute to the Moon’s role in generating tides.
Visitors can expect to see projections of the Moon from the recent Artemis II NASA flypast, as well as footage demonstrating how the mill converts the Moon’s gravitational effects into renewable energy for milling flour.
The museum will also feature a display called ‘Moon to flour’, explaining the different types of tides and their significance to the mill.
The display will also touch on weather-related threats to the mill.
An illuminated three-metre inflatable Moon is set to make an appearance, weather permitting.
The festivities will coincide with the Woodbridge Ambient Music Festival, which is set to enhance the atmosphere with a series of events across Woodbridge.
The museum has expressed gratitude to East Suffolk Council for funding the projections.
The event will run from dusk until 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
