The 22-year-old man from Bradford was taken into custody on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into the incident.
It reportedly took place on Wakefield Road in Normanton in the early hours of August 1.
The man remains in custody, a spokesperson for the force said.
A 28-year-old man has already been charged with rape and appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on August 22.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on September 12.
Specialist officers continue to support the victim as enquiries continue.
