Brooklyn Beckham’s gushing speech to wife Nicola Peltz at their wedding vow ceremony will have provided fresh heartache to his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
Now, the rest of the Beckham family’s telling silence is apparent on social media as they avoid liking any of Brooklyn or Nicola’s posts or even tagging them in new pictures and online updates.
In several posts from their family holiday, Victoria only tagged Romeo, Cruz, Harper and David. Likewise, David posted snaps with Romeo. Before the rift, both parents still used to tag Brooklyn in their captions even if he was absent from the pictures.

This comes straight off Brooklyn’s “moving” speech at his wedding. Insiders had said the former aspiring photographer “spoke movingly” of the Bates Motel actress during the event at Nelson Peltz’s estate at the beginning of August.
A source close to the couple said: “He spoke from the heart – and at the centre of his heart is Nicola who he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice.” The speech will be a ‘dagger’ to the Beckham family’s hearts, who has been left out of the couple’s lives.
It will be especially painful as it it understood that there was no similar tribute to his own parents, David, 50 and Victoria, 51. It comes after David Beckham ditches his iconic tiny trunks on yacht trip with Gordon Ramsay’s family.
This month, the rift escalated as Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz renewed their wedding vows in the US – without inviting any members of the Beckham clan along.
Brooklyn and Nicola have been sharing the gorgeous snaps from the event, which was reportedly attended by 200 guests. However, the Beckham family were nowhere to be seen.

“Victoria’s heart is breaking behind closed doors,” our source recently said. “Brooklyn is her firstborn and she’s worried she’s never going to get him back. Seeing him and Nicola renew their vows without her and David was tough. They have missed out on some big family moments already and Victoria is afraid that the longer this goes on, the less chance there is of it being resolved.”
David seemingly offered an olive branch to Brooklyn when he liked one of his posts where he filmed a cooking tutorial using his hot sauce brand, Cloud 23.
It comes after Brooklyn snubbed a number of big family events. In April, he failed to publicly acknowledge his mother’s 51st birthday and later snubbed David’s milestone 50th birthday in May.

David celebrated with intimate events in Cotswolds, a quick trip to Paris and a lavish birthday party with celebrity guests in Notting Hill. However, Brooklyn and Nicola wasn’t seen at any of the events.
He also stayed silent on Father’s Day in June, seemingly ignoring his parents’ 26th wedding anniversary, and he also failed to acknowledge David’s recent knighthood on social media.
It’s understood relations were souring even ahead of Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding three years ago. As well as an alleged disagreement over the design of the bride’s wedding dress, there were rumours that Nicola felt “upstaged” by Victoria at times.
