Chelsea oversaw 46 transfer ins and outs this summer – and a further three players could still leave Stamford Bridge.

The Blues spent more than £280million on new recruits, with the likes of Valentin Barco, Danny Welbeck, Maxence Lacroix and Emiliano Martinez making the move to south west London.

Morgan Rogers was the club’s biggest signing of the window, with the England international becoming the most expensive British player of all time in a deal worth £117m.

Alonso was even busier on the outgoing front, making the club more than £460m in total sales and loan fees. Enzo Fernandez stole deadline day headlines as he signed for Manchester City in a deal worth an eye-watering £125m.

Meanwhile, Andrey Santos, Nicolas Jackson, Marc Cucurella, Liam Delap, Trevoh Chalobah, Tyrique George, Marc Guiu and Tosin Adarabioyo all made permanent exits.

And Alonso could move on even more players yet to further streamline his matchday squad. Here, football.london takes a look at three more players destined for the Stamford Bridge exit.

Pedro Neto has been subject to much transfer speculation this summer, with Manchester City among those keen on the winger. On the Saudi side, Al-Hilal were also interested and could still make a transfer happen, given their window is open until Sunday.

Chelsea put a £100m price tag on Neto, reflecting the inflated fees appearing across the transfer market, with City paying £116m for Elliot Anderson and Tottenham paying £100m for Sandro Tonali.

If a huge offer from the Saudi Pro League materialises this week, Alonso may consider a transfer to further bolster Chelsea’s finances.

Kendry Paez was set to join River Plate on loan, but the deal was cancelled late in the window. Paez returned to Chelsea to discuss his next steps, with Alonso still aiming to keep his squad below the 25-man maximum.

According to The Glasgow Times, Celtic have been alerted to the possibility of a season-long switch for the winger as they look to bolster their squad ahead of Scotland’s transfer deadline on September 3 after already signing Shim Mheuka on loan.

Alonso was adamant that he would only be utilising around four or five centre-halves this season. However, they have six available, including Aaron Anselmino.

It had been reported in August that the former Boca Juniors defender had been offered to Fenerbahce and could still head to Turkey on loan. The Super Lig’s window doesn’t shut until September 4, giving the 21-year-old the opportunity to gain more regular minutes this campaign.
