The qualifying regions were North of Scotland, North East Scotland, Lothians and Renfrewshire.
The golf course was prepared well in advance for the prestigious competition and was immaculate on the day.
The team event consisted of foursome matches in the morning followed by singles in the afternoon.
On Saturday, Lothians managed to beat North of Scotland and Renfrewshire beat North East Scotland.
The final on Sunday was between three-year finalists Renfrewshire and 15-time winners Lothian.
In the morning foursomes matches Lothian won three to nil, and in the afternoon managed to win four to two, giving them an emphatic victory with a seven to two scoreline.
The trophy was presented to the winning team in the clubhouse, where Scottish Golf and the winners Lothian were full of praise for the welcome they had received and the condition of the golf course.
