All eyes are on Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks right now, and the new couple did not disappoint their fans on tonight’s red carpet at the National Television Awards.
Pete is once again on social media hosting duties with his best friend and fellow podcaster Sam Thompson, while Olivia – herself the face of a number of hit ITV shows, as well as her very own chart-topping podcast – is a red carpet favourite, and always top of a best dressed list or two.
The pair recently ‘hard-launched’ their romance on each other’s social media pages, and now they’ve made their relationship red carpet-official with an adorable interaction. Pete and Olivia embraced one another in front of the cameras, with the pair also sharing a cheeky kiss.
The sweet moment was shared on the official TikTok account for the National Television Awards, with Sam Thompson looking on, and the caption noting the couple’s “red carpet chemistry”.
Fans were quick to jump into the comments on Instagram, with many praising the new couple and showing support for them.
Olivia herself was also spotted among the comments, joking: “Guys why was this so awkward…”, followed by a series of laughing emojis, along with a burning heart.

Pete was the first to post a photo of Olivia on his Instagram account back in July, with Olivia herself following suit a week ago. Since then, Pete has appeared on Olivia’s feed a number of times – including a behind the scenes video from a photoshoot that they did together, dressed all in black, where Pete told Olivia she looked “beautiful”, and Olivia confirmed that she’s a fan of her man’s moustache.
The ceremony for the 2026 National Television Awards will be broadcast on ITV tonight from 8pm, hosted by Joel Dommett. This year’s shortlist of nominees made history with a show-first, marking a drama performance category made up of all women actors – including Sheridan Smith (I Fought The Law), Ruth Jones (Run Away), and Judy Parfitt (Call the Midwife).
In the world of reality television, the competition category will see I’m a Celebrity go up against its South Africa spinoff, and The Traitors compete with the UK’s Celebrity version.
