If you’re in LA later this month to witness the opening of the much-buzzed-about Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, don’t miss this exclusive event presented by the USC School of Architecture: Designing the Lucas Museum with Ma Yansong features the building’s architect, explaining the design team’s vision for the Exposition Park building. The presentation is followed by a roundtable discussion with the museum’s CEO Tracey Bates, architects Thom Mayne and Eric Owen Moss, and moderator Frances Anderton

The event takes place on opening night, Tuesday, September 22, from 6 to 8 pm, at Bovard Auditorium. Admission is free and open to everyone, but registration is required.

And while you’re in town, also check out USC’s College Night at Fisher Museum on Thursday, September 24, from 6 pm. The event offers after-hours access to the museum’s “Paul R. Williams: An Architect Considered” exhibition for current Southern California college students, offering opportunities to connect with fellow students, art-making activities presented by USC NOMAS and Architecture + Advocacy, a live DJ set, and complimentary food and refreshments.
