However, it’s fair to say that the 36-year-old American is not universally popular.
It’s impossible to argue that Patrick Reed is not a great golfer, but some golf fans find it hard to warm to the 2018 Masters champion.

Reed will be heading back to the PGA Tour imminently after serving his one-year ban for playing on LIV Golf.
However, he is plying his trade on the DP World Tour this week.
Paul McGinley states how he feels about watching Patrick Reed play golf
Reed played some wonderful golf during his opening round at Trump International Golf Links on day one of the Irish Open.
Paul McGinley spoke about Reed during Sky Sports’ broadcast of the Irish Open on Thursday.
“I love his golf swing, he’s one of my favourite players in the game to watch,“ McGinley said.

“I think he’s such a natural player. I love his golf swing.

“The club looks so natural in his hands. I love the way he chips, I love the way he putts.
“You know, whether you like the personality of Patrick Reed, that’s for others to say, but certainly in terms of how he plays golf, I love how he approaches and plays the game.
“It’s a natural blend of great technique and natural talent.“
What Patrick Reed has said about impending PGA Tour return
Reed spoke back in June about his desire to ensure that he makes his PGA Tour return in the correct manner.
“It’s always important. I felt like when I really looked at it and sat down and made the decision for what I thought was best for myself and my family to be able to come back and play on the PGA Tour, I wanted to do it the right way,“ Reed explained.
“Not just because of the membership but also because of the players. Coming back and making sure that I did my time in sitting out and coming back and earning my spot out here, rather than just coming back and be given a spot.
“I feel like, because of that and coming back the right way it kind of seems like not only the players but also the people who are part of the PGA Tour are happy to have me back.”
