The forward was contracted to The Wire until the end of next season, but the club have confirmed that he will be departing a year early.

His next move has also been confirmed, with Huddersfield Giants announcing his signature on a three-year deal as Crowther moves back to his native Yorkshire.

Having first joined Warrington on loan from Wakefield Trinity during the 2023 season, Crowther’s move was made permanent at the end of that year and has been a mainstay in the side ever since.

Crowther has 72 Wire appearances to his name and will now be among the players given an official farewell following the Round 27 home game against Toulouse Olympique on Friday.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Warrington,” he said.

“The last three-and-a-half years have been my most enjoyable to date and I feel like I’m leaving as a better player and person.

“To all the coaches and players, I’ve had the privilege of working with over the last few years. Thank you for everything.

“It’s been one hell of a journey, and I’m looking forward to having one last ride with you all and finishing this year on a high.

“Finally, thank you to the fans for taking this Yorkshire lad in as one of your own. It’s been an honour to play for this great club.”
