Line of Duty’s Adrian Dunbar returns as an ex-cop-turned-police consultant in season two of Ridley, now trending on ITVX.
Dunbar, who played the role of Superintendent Ted Hastings in Line of Duty, portrays a member of the police force again with Alex Ridley – a retired detective with a traumatic past.
The titular character is lured out of early retirement and back into police work by his former protégée, DI Carol Farman (Bronagh Waugh).

Picking up where season one left off, chapter two sees Alex having a better grip, having started to process the murders of his wife and daughter, Kate and Ella.
Alex’s informant Michael Flannery (Aidan McArdle) was initially believed to be responsible for the fatal arson attack. However, the protagonist managed to uncover the truth by resorting to occasionally unorthodox methods.
Also trending in the UK is the new US spy thriller Butterfly, which has just dropped on Prime Video.

Butterfly follows David Jung – a former US secret agent living in South Korea, who becomes the target of an assassin. The show is led by Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim, who recently lent his voice to Healer Han in Netflix‘s KPop Demon Hunters.
Currently in Prime Video’s third place for both TV shows and overall in the UK, Butterfly also stars Piper Perabo as Juno, Reina Hardesty as David’s daughter Rebecca, Kim Tae-hee as Eunju Kim, and Louis Landau as Oliver Barnes.
