The Australian soap star will perform at Otley Courthouse as part of an extensive UK and Ireland tour.

Born in Perth, Western Australia, on 30 March 1957, Fletcher joined the cast of Neighbours in 1994 and became one of the programme’s most recognisable stars.

Before that, he appeared in series including Cop Shop and Embassy.

While Fletcher is widely recognised for his television work, he has also built a strong reputation as a musician, with his band becoming a popular Americana and alt-country act following three years of touring across the UK and Ireland.

According to critics, Fletcher and his band combine upbeat rhythm and blues-infused Americana with more reflective ballads, creating a show that appeals to a wide range of audiences.

The Australian performer will appear at Otley Courthouse on November 1 as part of a national tour running from July 31 to November 2.

Music critics have praised Fletcher’s live performances. Lyndon Bolton, writing for Americana UK Magazine, said: “Fletcher blends the actor with the musician. His songs range from deeply serious to comical. Add to that duetting with his wife, Jennifer Hansen, an excellent band and the show was high on musical quality as well as entertainment.”

Laura Cooney of Entertainment-Focus.com described a recent performance as “a show that surprised in the best possible way”, highlighting Fletcher’s vocal quality, guitar playing and his strong connection with audiences.

Fans have also been quick to praise the musician’s live appearances, with comments including “Best night ever” and “Absolutely brilliant gig”.
