F1 Arcade has unveiled a new racing simulator concept, F1 Box, which features just the core simulator experience.
Set to open in Westfield Stratford City, UK, this Friday (August 22), F1 Box pits drivers against each other in head-to-head racing challenges across 12 arcade-style F1 racing simulators.
The simulators feature full-motion bases, while gameplay is delivered via a 4K screen. F1-style production and race commentary is also featured, with players able to step straight into the action and compete in two back-to-back races, tracking their progress on a live leaderboard featuring real-time race data.
F1 Box is a stripped-down version of the F1 arcade, offering just the core racing simulator experience instead of the Arcade’s upscale F&B experience. The company said: “It is about fast, competitive gameplay built for today’s social-first crowd.”
Adam Breeden, founder and CEO of F1 Arcade, said: “F1 Box is the first of its kind; a uniquely immersive experience combining a state-of-the-art audio-visual production that brings the racer right to the track, amplifying the drama of every moment. The concept offers significant global growth potential, bringing a small-format, dramatised version of our F1 Arcade racing experience to millions more Formula 1 fans and newcomers worldwide.”
