The name and sex of Lady Gaga’s newborn baby has reportedly been revealed. Over the weekend, it was reported by various outlets that the singer and her fiancé Michael Polansky had welcomed their first child together.
Gaga and Polansky were seen out and about in California while the House of Gucci was photographed cradling a baby. Neither her nor Polansky’s representatives have made official statements as of yet.
Now, TMZ reports that the couple’s child is a little girl named Rose Bean Polansky, who was born on 9 June at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Gaga’s representatives declined to comment when approached by Digital Spy.
Gaga and Polansky began dating in 2020 and it was announced that the couple had gotten engaged in 2024. The pair have also collaborated musically, with Polansky having credits on a few singles on the recent Mayhem album.
The American Horror Story star has always been vocal about her hopes of motherhood, telling ELLE in 2025 about her desire to start with a family with Polansky.
“Family – it’s like the roots of the tree,” she told the publication. “They grow long, and sometimes they’re mangled, and sometimes they’re full of water, and sometimes they’re thirsty. Family is what makes you who you are, and it also defines your need for change.”

As for what she’d like her future children to think of her artistry and career, she said: “I would want my children to understand that whatever my artistry means to them is totally up to them.
“I would never actually want to shape it or tell them how to think about me. Maybe other than that I just did my best. And tried to stay true to myself along the way.
“That’s something Michael and I have talked about a lot – allowing our kids to be their own people.”
