The Carlisle Villa boxing club star overcame Argentinian opponent Ezequiel Gregores at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
Haughan, 22, got the better of his rival in the middleweight contest on the latest VIP Boxing card.
The Cumbrian won the judges’ decision by a dominant margin of 40-34.
Haughan was on top throughout against Gregores, who went on to have two points deducted for persistent holding.
The boxer was backed by some vocal support from his Carlisle-based supporters in Blackpool as he maintained his unbeaten start to his pro career.
Haughan later thanked his supporters and coaching team for their backing in a social media post.
“Firstly wow what a night being the co main event and having an unbelievable supporting army cheering and making it a very special night,” he said.
“Having nights like this is what I’ve dreamed of so I wanna say a massive thank you to everyone!
“Secondly thank you to my team for another top camp, you’re all a massive help in the journey, your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
“Thirdly thank you to my sponsors, they make this journey possible and I appreciate you a lot!
“Finally time for a week to chill and relax then we will be back ready to rock and roll.”
Haughan’s victory against Gregores followed wins over Daniel Przewieslik, Jose Aguirre and Harley Collison at the outset of his pro career.
