Hartlepool United can confirm that Adam Clayton and Gary Liddle will lead the first team this week on an interim basis following Lee Clark’s resignation.
The Club has begun the process for appointing a new permanent replacement.

“We believe this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, with the majority of the season still ahead and a good squad foundation in place.”
“Our immediate focus is on supporting Adam and Gary as they prepare the team for Saturday’s fixture against Scunthorpe United, while conducting a thorough and considered recruitment process.”
Hartlepool United return to Enterprise National League action against Scunthorpe United at the Attis Arena on Saturday.
