Remedy then highlights the Assist Mode it provides in-game to tune the difficulty to exactly where you want it, and is also making it easier to change your loadout and build. More “Reset Items” will be available at vendors, and the cost of respeccing is reduced after applying the hotfix. Also, the first boss you fight, The Artist, now drops two Reset Items, not just one.
There are also some text changes and UI updates to make things like multipliers and build power easier to understand.
“We will closely follow your feedback and make further adjustments as needed. Enjoy the game, take your time, explore, and let us know what you think,” Remedy concluded.
With the PS5 hotfix already live on launch day, one of the main issues with the game has already been fixed. Of course, even if it hadn’t been, we’d still recommend you play the sequel. In our Control Resonant PS5 review, we awarded the Dylan-led title an 8/10 and said:
“Control Resonant is an impeccably confident and tantalising sequel that has all the hallmarks of a Remedy classic. It’s endlessly stylish and playful; it looks gorgeous, especially on the PS5 Pro, and it manages to address many of the woes that I had with the original Control.”
