ITV has announced a brand-new series Nobody’s Fool, starring Emily Atack and Danny Dyer.

Described as a “compelling” “strategic reality quiz”, this game show will feature 10 contestants staying in a ‘smart house’ together.

They will also compete in series of daily quizzes and contests, but each player won’t know how well anyone else has performed, just how they themself did.

They’ll need to convince each other that they are among the smartest in the room, as the group will systematically eliminate who they think is the weakest person.

Will the group work out who are the true high-performers and who are faking it? Will they follow stereotypes and make snap judgments, or go against preconceived notions?

To make things even more tense, there’s up to £100,000 up for grabs for the overall winner.

“This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I’ve seen before,” Dyer stated.

“Emily and I had a brilliant time making it and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end.”

Atack added: “It’s so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can’t wait for everyone to watch, it’s an absolute must see.”

Meanwhile, Dyer and Atack are both set to return for season 2 of Disney+’s Rivals, which started filming a few months ago.

“This series is so much better than the first,” he teased. “I mean, it’s that ‘difficult second album’ thing but honestly, the writers and the producers have absolutely nailed it.”

Nobody’s Fool will air on ITV1 next year, and stream on ITVX.
