US President Donald Trump says five men arrested near the UK airbase Fairford had been under investigation by US authorities before their detention by British police.
Trump praised cooperation between the United States and Britain, calling the operation “fantastic.”
The arrests took place near RAF Fairford, a base used by the US Air Force and recently involved in operations linked to the conflict with Iran.
