Microsoft has revealed the next eight games leaving Xbox Game Pass in early October 2026, with all of these being highlighted as “leaving soon” on the official Xbox phone app.

It’s a particularly painful one this month. Our early predictions were pretty accurate, if you ask me. We got four games spot on with Donut County, Evil West, The Casting of Frank Stone, and Pacific Drive all on the chopping block this October, but including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is tres merde.

Here’s the full list of games set to leave Xbox Game Pass in early October 2026:

You’ll find discounts of at least 20% on all of these Xbox Game Pass titles until they leave on October 15th.

If you’ve not tried it yet, I’d absolutely recommend giving Expedition 33 a go. It’s an all-timer, no question about it. Also, with the inclusion of the Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy in recent months, I think if you want the full picture, perhaps consider giving Requiem a go before it gommages too.

We’re just days into October at this point and there’s lots more to come. The likes of Gears of War: E-Day are on the way, as well as the highly-anticipated Valor Mortis. So, be sure to check out our Xbox Game Pass guide for the month!
