Kim Woodburn bench next to Nantwich Lake

A bench in memory of TV presenter Kim Woodburn has been unveiled next to Nantwich Lake.

Kim, known as “Queen of Clean”, shot to fame presenting the Channel 4 hit show “How Clean is Your House” between 2003 and 2009.

She moved to Nantwich with husband Peter after visiting and falling in love with the town during filming of an episode.

She also starred in “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here” as well other shows like Big Brother, as well as the Canada version of How Clean Is Your House, called “Kim’s Rude Awakenings”.

Kim died aged 83 in June 2025.

The memorial bench has a plaque remembering Kim as the “Queen of Clean”, alongside the dates of her birth and death.

Her husband Peter was described at the time as “heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate”.

Photos of the bench have now been shared through on the family’s social media, giving fans a chance to see the memorial to a woman who became one of British TV’s most unforgettable characters.

Now her fans can sit on the bench over-looking the picturesque late and smile at the one-liners and TV moments that made her famous.
