Mr Hughes said: “It’s a lot of hard work, the team’s worked really hard towards it and it’s an honour for us to receive this award.”
He said serving local people was at the heart of the pharmacy’s work.
Mr Hughes said: “It’s an honour to give good service to our community.”
The pharmacy offers healthcare advice and support for residents with a range of health needs.
Its work includes vaccination programmes, health guidance and reassurance for people seeking support.
For many residents, the pharmacy is one of the first places they turn to for health advice.
Mr Hughes said the award belonged to the whole staff and credited the entire team, saying: “The team, the full team.”
“It’s a full team effort, they work hard day in day out.”
Ceremony host Sian Lloyd explained why the category mattered.
Ms Lloyd said: “This award really is about shining spotlights on the firms that go the extra mile for their customers.”
She praised Ringland Pharmacy for supporting the community and people who rely on pharmacy services.
Ms Lloyd said: “They support vaccination programmes, provide accessible advice, they help vulnerable individuals who rely on pharmacy as the first point of contact.”
“Their work strengthens public health and builds trust within the community.”

For Jonathan, the recognition was a chance to celebrate the colleagues who work tirelessly to support the Ringland community.
And while collecting the award was a special moment, he was keen to emphasise that the team’s dedication extends far beyond one evening.
He said: “It’s not a flash in the pan, it’s a consistency all year round.”
