This week on Warhammer TV, the brand-new animation Arkanaut lifts off, bringing the Kharadron Overlords to life as never before. Plus, Black Library author Noah Van Nguyen sits down for a chat on Scribes and Scriveners, before the battle-loving Orks collide with the noble Imperial Knights on Battle Report.

Available Today: Scribes and Scriveners – Noah Van Nguyen

Author Noah Van Nguyen sits down with presenter Alex to discuss his work, including Yndrasta: The Celestial Spear, Godeater’s Son, its recent sequel, Blood of the Godeater, and Elemental Council.* He delves into the almost paternal relationship between Sigmar and Yndrasta, the latter’s drive to hunt, and the monstrous aspects of the Stormcast Eternals.

Noah also talks about his approach to his craft and how he manages to create such evocative and highly detailed descriptions of people and places in his prose.

Available Tomorrow: Battle Report – Warhammer 40,000: Orks vs Imperial Knights

Two guest players bring their personal armies into the studio for a proper scrap – Lydia brings her trigger-happy Orks to face up against Sean and his colossal Imperial Knights, which are painted in the colours of a villain from Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef.

Ghazghkull Thraka leads the Ork army into battle, with some big, scary brutes, and 60 Gretchin to do all the important jobs, such as claiming objectives. The Imperial Knights consist of a Freeblade Company, led by a towering Knight Valiant and even has a sneaky trick up its metallic sleeves – a Callidus Assassin.

Please note that this episode was filmed before the recent Warhammer 40,000 balance update. That means some of the points and force dispositions may have changed, but the screams of “Waaagh!” are still just as joy-filled.

Available on Friday: Arkanaut – Episode 1: Cursed Skies
