1. Free Up Enough Storage Space

For the best experience, install the game on a solid-state drive (SSD). To check your drive type, right-click the Windows taskbar and select Task Manager, or press Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Open the Performance tab and select the relevant disk. Where possible, avoid installing the game on your system drive (C:) to reduce the impact of system disk activity on frame rate stability.

The game requires approximately 145 GB of storage. Before preloading, make sure you have at least 300 GB of free space on the installation drive, as temporary files and the complete game files must coexist during the unlock process. Once the process is complete, storage usage will drop to approximately 145 GB. If a download, installation, or update fails due to insufficient space or a similar issue, free up the required space and try downloading the game again.

2. Update Your Graphics Drivers

1) NVIDIA graphics cards

Update to the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver. We strongly recommend version 621.01, which includes NVIDIA optimizations specifically for Phantom Blade Zero and can significantly improve stability.

Visit the official NVIDIA website at https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app/ and download the NVIDIA app. Open the app, select Drivers in the left navigation panel, and check for updates. If an update is available, download and install it.

2) AMD graphics cards

Update to the latest AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition driver. Before launch, check for the driver release optimized for Phantom Blade Zero and install it if available.

Visit the official AMD website at https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html and download the Windows® 10/11 driver tool. Run the tool to automatically detect your graphics hardware and current driver version, then download and install any available update.

There’s a lot to look forward to for the action game, and remember: this is not a Soulslike, contrary to what people might have heard.

Players can expect at least 50 bosses and 30 weapons in the game, and there might even be more.

Phantom Blade Zero is set for release on October 29 on the PS5 and PC.
