Celebs and influencers take to social media to post their fun looks

Every year, celebrities put on wigs and glitter to post their Halloween costumes on social media. The looks are extravagant and wonderfully done, probably curated to perfection alongside dozens of beauty professionals.

In the past, fan favorites have ranged from creepy to scarily accurate. The Kardashians dressed up as Care Bears, and the Biebers sported superhero jumpsuits as The Incredibles. Of course, Heidi Klum, “Queen of Halloween,” went all out, as she usually does.

This year, a new round of chosen characters have been anointed to the Pinterest boards of famous celebrities. Although the weekend has just begun, costume posts are slowly appearing on social media to kick off the Halloweekend. Here are the most iconic, so far, of this Instagram season.

The model and influencer takes Halloween to the next level with an array of costumes each year. One of her first extravagant getups was a totally accurate Maleficent gown, which she wore as she strolled through the streets of New York in a recent Instagram post.

The impressive costume was crafted by iconic designer Marc Bouwer, who has created looks for celebrities such as Sydney Sweeney and Kerry Washington. Baylee has more costumes rolling out on socials over the next couple of days, and the Halloween fun never stops.

The actress dressed as Janet Jackson from the “Scream” music video — giving her son Leo a special role, too. The little boy sported a Michael Jackson costume to match. The iconic music video look was instantly captured. From the spiked-out sweaters to Janet’s iconic hair, the costume was perfect for the adorable pair.

The It-Girl gathered her family together to create the perfect spooky look: The Addams Family. Hilton wore a beautiful black gown, with hair to match. Her husband and kids fit the roles well, as Wednesday and Pugslie wear their signature stripes and braids.

The star has more costumes in store, posting throughout the season. She has already posed as Belle and Britney Spears on socials.

Kim K’s iconic Halloween look came early this year, with an Instagram post going platinum last week. The celebrity dressed up as her daughter, North West, and recreated her iconic poses. From the long blue wig to the glammed-up nails, her daughter’s look was captured perfectly, highlighting her understanding of the signature style.

Influencer Camilla Araujo always delivers with a wide range of character costumes every year. This Halloween, she has already dressed up as Cher and Lord Voldemort. Most iconically, she crafted a costume for the “Lilo & Stitch” character Pleakley. Sporting green fingers and one giant eyeball, she posted reels featuring the costume and its creative process.

Influencer Sophie Silva created Instagram reels showing her transition to the DC Comics character Enchantress. Intricately crafted with chains and leather, the costume portrays the character fittingly. In paying homage to the beloved Enchantress, Silva gained many new fans who appreciated the accurate portrayal.
