We’re also hoping to hear from Bournemouth’s Marco Rose and Brighton and Hove Albion’s Fabian Hurzeler today

ARSENAL

Ezri Konsa is fit and available for Hull, despite coming off with “issues” in midweek.

“Yeah, he is fine. He was feeling much better today. We took him out for a precaution and for the amount of minutes that he was playing but yesterday and today, he’s feeling good.” – Mikel Arteta on Ezri Konsa

Bukayo Saka (quad) remains “weeks” away.

“We’re talking about, obviously, weeks. Let’s see. After the international break, he’s going to start hitting the pitch and start to have more activity, see how he feels. But unfortunately, he’s going to be out for a while.” – Mikel Arteta on Bukayo Saka

“I don’t want to push [the medical team] into too much pressure! They are doing their best to get him fit. Bukayo is desperate to get back with the team but still quite early.” – Mikel Arteta on whether Bukayo Saka could be back for the games against Man City, Real Madrid and Spurs in late November/early December

Max Dowman serves game two of a three-match ban, meanwhile.

William Saliba is, of course, now fit, and Mikel Arteta was asked about the prospect of the centre-back potentially getting a call-up for France today, despite not kicking a ball since the summer.

“We’re in very close contact. I think they are announcing at 5pm this evening, so they have all the information. Now is about them, about Zinedine [Zidane] in this case, to get the call, and we will accept whatever it is.

“I think it’s something between them more. Willi needs minutes, as well. I know how much he loves to be in and around the national team. He has a new manager, a really exciting one as well, so whatever is decided, it’s fine for us.” – Mikel Arteta on William Saliba potentially getting a France call-up

CHELSEA

Emiliano Martinez (jaw) has returned to training this week and could feature, with a late assessment to come on him.

“Tomorrow, we have the last training session before Sunday. We will decide. He’s training well.” – Xabi Alonso on Emi Martinez

Aaron Anselmino and Jordan Henderson have also been back on the grass following injury and illness, respectively.

Jorrel Hato (unknown), Maxence Lacroix (hamstring) Reece James (knee), Jamie Gittens (ankle) and, of course, Joao Pedro (quad) remain out.

“No real update. For sure, we are not expecting them for tomorrow. That’s clear. Let’s see after these two weeks of the international break how their recovery is, the progress that they make and for sure, ahead of the Leeds game, I will have more updates – but not today.” – Xabi Alonso on Maxence Lacroix and Joao Pedro

“He is not fit. It will take some more weeks.” – Xabi Alonso on Jorrel Hato

Moises Caicedo is a concern with “discomfort”.

“After the last game, he had little problems. We expect to check tomorrow different situations, and Moi is one of them.

“It’s a discomfort, more than the calf.” – Xabi Alonso on Moises Caicedo

LIVERPOOL

The Reds have no new concerns from the midweek loss in Turkey.

Ryan Gravenberch (heel), who missed UEFA Champions League duty, could yet feature if he can play through the pain barrier.

“The only doubt we will have is Ryan. The others will be the same as we have been.

“The Ryan Gravenberch thing is a day-to-day thing, it’s a matter of pain. Let’s see if he can deal with the pain and he can help us.” – Andoni Iraola on Ryan Gravenberch

Hugo Ekitike (Achilles), Conor Bradley (knee), Jeremie Frimpong (hamstring) and Giovanni Leoni (knee) are all still out.

MANCHESTER CITY

Enzo Maresca’s press conference was short on team news but we think the City boss has a fully fit squad bar medium-term absentee Antoine Semenyo (knee).

There was a comment on the fitness of Nico O’Reilly, who was omitted from the England squad today.

“Since we started the season, his back [problem], if you remember, before the Coventry game. Some more problems, unfortunately. He’s not 100%. In the last game, I really liked him, he was playing a very good game. This is what we need from Nico; just keep him fit because we know how good he is. And no doubt that in the future he will be again with the international team.

“The break is what he needs, to use the break to do the right things in terms of therapy and these kind of things, and be 100% after the international break.” – Enzo Maresca on Nico O’Reilly

Phil Foden was also overlooked by Thomas Tuchel on Friday.

“He’s doing well, to be honest. Now, the reason why he has been left out from the international team, I don’t know. But we are happy with Phil. We know that he can give much more, we know that. But slowly, slowly; I said many times, it’s my duty to try to help him to be back and be one of the best.” – Enzo Maresca on Phil Foden

There was more backing for under-fire goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, meanwhile.

“Overall, he’s good. He’s quite relaxed in terms of… he recognises that he has done some mistakes. But at the same time, as I said after the last game, also he has made some good saves. So it’s just a matter of balance, try to avoid mistakes, and continue to do the right things.” – Enzo Maresca on Gianluigi Donnarumma

Maresca was also asked about knowing what his first-choice XI is.

“It depends a little bit on the game. We have probably 60, 65 games, so it’s impossible to use always the same players. I feel quite lucky because I have many good players that I can choose which ones we need for different games.” – Enzo Maresca

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Lucas Bergvall (knee), Savinho (muscle) and Mykhailo Mudryk (ankle) remain out, along with longer-term absentees Xavi Simons (knee) and Wilson Odobert (knee).

Tosin Adarabioyo (calf) is back in training, however.

Rodrigo Bentancur is newly available, too, having served a three-match suspension.

“Savio, Bergvall, Mudryk [are unavailable]. Tosin is available; yesterday he came inside of the group.” – Roberto De Zerbi

ASTON VILLA

Matty Cash will miss Aston Villa’s trip to Manchester United through suspension, having picked up his fifth booking of the season last weekend.

Matteo Ruggeri (hamstring) and long-term absentee Amadou Onana (knee) also remain out but Aaron Wan-Bissaka (hamstring) has trained this week and could feature.

Villa don’t seem to have any fresh issues from Tuesday’s loss in Barcelona.

“Aaron is close and tomorrow we’ll see if he’s training normally and feeling good.

“Ruggeri is still working alone but he’s progressing well.

“Onana is long injured.

“I think the other players are available.” – Unai Emery

MANCHESTER UNITED

Carlos Baleba will be out “for a number of weeks” with the hamstring injury he sustained in midweek.

He joins longer-term absentees Manuel Ugarte (knee) and Benjamin Sesko (calf) on the sidelines.

“Carlos, we don’t know exactly [the severity], but it’ll be a number of weeks. It’s definitely not this week and it won’t be any time over the international break, it will be a little bit longer yet.” – Michael Carrick on Carlos Baleba

Luke Shaw (unspecified) and Marcus Rashford (hip) look set to miss out again, too.

Patrick Dorgu (hamstring) has trained this week, however, and could be involved.

“Patrick’s done a little bit of training this week, you’ve seen him train with us at the start of the week. A very, very small [number of sessions], so we have got to be patient with Pat, you know. He’s had a good period of time [out] now, with a couple of hamstrings. We need to really manage that, and be patient with that over the next few weeks. But he’s slowly getting back with us, so we’ll have to see if he can be involved at the weekend or not.” – Michael Carrick on Patrick Dorgu

Lisandro Martinez serves a one-match ban after his sending off in Gameweek 9.

BOURNEMOUTH

Alex Toth (hamstring), Julian Araujo (thigh) and Juanlu Sanchez (ankle) are out, while Veljko Milosavljevic (knee) is with the under-21s as he builds fitness following his long spell on the sidelines.

Alex Scott (tendon), however, had been earmarked for a potential return in Gameweek 10, and has trained this week.

“He has started to train with the team. His load is still not at 100%, so we need to do the last steps and the last tests. It’s about sprinting, it’s about shooting. But he feels good, he trains with the team, and we are going to see until Sunday what we are going to do.” – Marco Rose on Alex Scott

SUNDERLAND

Regis Le Bris says that Nordi Mukiele (concussion) should return this weekend.

“Should be, should be.” – Regis Le Bris on whether Nordi Mukiele will be available

Omar Alderete has to serve a one-match ban following his sending off last weekend, however.

Dan Ballard (hamstring), Habib Diarra (muscle) and Romaine Mundle (knee) are medium-term absentees.

CRYSTAL PALACE

Jean-Philippe Mateta starts a three-match ban following his dismissal for serious foul play last weekend. An appeal against his red card failed.

Ismaila Sarr (groin), Takehiro Tomiyasu (calf) and Chadi Riad (knee) remain out, too.

“He will come back after the international break.” – Pierre Sage on Ismaila Sarr

In better news, Quinten Timber (hamstring) and Jorgen Strand Larsen (ankle) returned to the squad on Thursday. Strand Larsen didn’t get off the bench but is ready to start.

“He didn’t play [on Thursday] because the scenario of the game was not positive for me to let him have the possibility to play.

“But I think he’s able to play 60, 75 [minutes] and with the head and the stamina, maybe he can push this.” – Pierre Sage on Jorgen Strand Larsen

Axel Disasi was mysteriously omitted from the squad in the Europa League, with reports suggesting it was punishment for being late to a team meeting. But the centre-back is available for selection on Sunday.

“Yes.” – Pierre Sage on whether Axel Disasi could be considered for selection in Gameweek 10

FULHAM

Ryan Sessegnon returns this weekend after completing a three-match ban.

The Cottagers have only one absentee for the visit of Newcastle United, then: Tom Cairney misses out with knee issues.

IPSWICH TOWN

Saka Lukic (groin) has trained this week, and Gary O’Neil says there’s “no reason” the midfielder couldn’t start this weekend.
