MANILA – The Department of Health (DOH) has announced the initial rollout of Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment (GAMOT) Providers accredited by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) in the National Capital Region (NCR) starting Thursday.
In a Viber photo message sent to reporters, the DOH noted the initiative enables members to access essential medicines from designated partner pharmacies and medical centers.
The accredited providers in NCR include:
CGD Medical Depot Inc.(Quezon City)VidaCure(Alabang and Cubao)Chinese General Hospital & Medical Center(Manila)Pharm Gen Ventures Corp. (Generika Drugstore) – with branches in Parañaque, Navotas, Quezon City, and Taguig
Meanwhile, the list of medicines covers anti-infection, anti-thrombosis, anti-asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease treatments, supportive therapies, and maintenance medicines for diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, among others.
