Actor John Stamos gave an update on friend and costar Dave Coulier’s health struggles in a recent interview.

Stamos is best known for roles on “General Hospital” and “ER,” as well as his role as Uncle Jesse on the sitcom “Full House,” alongside Coulier, who played Uncle Joey.

Coulier was diagnosed with stage III non-Hodgkin lymphoma last year.

And Stamos told Us Magazine that “Dave and I talk a lot” in a recent interview.

“You know, we lost Bob [Saget], and I couldn’t bear losing Dave, so I’ve been with him a lot during this cancer journey of his,” Stamos told Us.

Fortunately, Stamos had good news to share, saying that Coulier is “100 percent back to Dave”

“It’s great to see that the treatments work,” Stamos said in the interview. “And it’s great to see him out there talking about it, to help other people that are going through the same thing.”

Stamos, Coulier and fellow “Full House” costar Bob Saget remained close after the show ended. Saget died in 2022 after a head injury.

Stamos said that Saget had been “connector” between the various cast members following the show’s ending, and that his loss affected them all deeply.

“I still can’t believe that he’s gone,” he told Us. “You just gotta love people when they’re around.”
