While Tony supported Mercedes at Bobby’s funeral, his family discovered the pair had been secretly sleeping together. Diane was incensed, having helped Tony cover up his crime, and blurted out the truth during the ceremony, which was being livestreamed.

Tony was arrested and later charged with murder, while Diane was taken in for questioning. However, viewers know that Bobby was actually murdered by serial killer Jeremy Blake, in an act of revenge against Mercedes.

“It’s hard to watch her fall out with Ste too as she lashes out in her grief – but will Mercedes ever find out that it was actually Jez who killed her son?”
