Emma Raducanu believes all four Grand Slams should adopt the US Open’s revamped approach to mixed doubles.
The winners of the event, Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori, walked away with £740,000.
Raducanu and her doubles partner Carlos Alcaraz were eliminated in the last 16 by Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula.
Despite an early exit from the tournament, Raducanu would like to see more of the revamped approach to mixed doubles.
“I think it would be so fun if all the slams got involved and did something similar, even if it was not the exact same format,” Raducanu said.

“”I think it was a huge success. I think so many fans got involved, (with) so many people watching and tuned in.
“It got a lot of attention. I think it was a great idea. And I had a lot of fun on the court playing with Carlos.”
Raducanu will now turn her attention to the women’s singles, where she will face a qualifier in her first round match.
She will be hoping to win the famous tournament for the second time, having memorably come out on top in 2021.
The world No. 35 says she has enjoyed her preparation ahead of her return to the court in New York.
“I feel good overall,” Raducanu added. “I think I have been practising pretty well. I have had a good few weeks in America playing and Canada as well.
“Got some matches in. Tough match with Aryna [Sabalenka] in Cincy, but it was another one to build on and was closer than when I played her at Wimbledon.”
