Stage one will tour across East Suffolk. (Image: Lloyds Tour of Britain) Councillor Seamus Bennett, East Suffolk Council’s assistant cabinet member, said: “The Lloyds Tour of Britain Men is the biggest professional cycling race in the country, and we have worked hard to secure the return of the event to East Suffolk again this year.
“We appreciate that the temporary road closures and parking suspensions may be inconvenient for affected residents however, these restrictions are for a short time and are essential to ensure the safety of the riders and all those who come out to enjoy this major international sporting event. I would like to thank residents for their understanding and support in advance.”
