Thriving: As well as marking 150 years, Somerset also had a close contest this week, just being edged out by Warwickshire in front of another big crowd at Taunton. An away win against Sussex a few days later helped improve the spirits.
Shakespeare with the stars: Dylan Moran, Dame Harriet Walter, Gloria Obianyo, Patrick Robinson and Charlie Rowe all star in the Shakespeare comedy As You Like It – this version directed by Ralph Fiennes – which is on at the Theatre Royal in Bath until 6 September.
Fabulous florals: The Clevedon Show has been in full swing, featuring the flower show, produce, arts, crafts and entertainment. There are traditional competitions and food too.
Excellent care: The endoscopy team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust received JAG accreditation from the Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy, which is awarded to services in recognition of the excellent care they provide patients.
