After a long legal fight in the courts, Apple is restoring blood oxygen tracking to Apple Watch models with a software update. As a result, Apple iPhone and Apple Watch models compatible with the iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1 software updates can get the new blood oxygen tracking feature, according to Bloomberg.
“Following this update, Apple said in a statement. “Sensor data from the Blood Oxygen app on Apple Watch will be measured and calculated on the paired iPhone, and results can be viewed in the Respiratory section of the Health app.”

Meanwhile, the tech company also announced a new model in the Apple Watch Ultra 2 line. Starting at $799, the new premium-performance smartwatch now comes in a 49mm Black Titanium case with new carbon-neutral bands that come in various styles and colors, including alpine loop, trail loop, ocean band and Milanese loop in black, tan, dark green, navy, ice blue and others.
The Apple Watch Series 10 starts at $298 on sale for the GPS-only model, while GPS + cellular model start at $383 at Walmart, Apple and Amazon. Meanwhile, the new Black Titanium Apple Watch Ultra 2 starts at $799 at Apple.
