Michel Ange Balikwisha appears to have said his goodbyes ahead of a £5m move to Paradise. The Belgian attacker has been linked with Celtic over the last few weeks as Brendan Rodgers targets attacking reinforcements to bolster his frontline.

The Royal Antwerp winger now appears to make the switch to The Scottish Champions in a deal worth £5m. Baliskwisha was absent as Antwerp faced KV Mechelen on Sunday but was on the pitch appearing to pay farewell to the supporters.

There will be a degree of frustration that this deal was not concluded prior to the UCL Playoff First Leg, especially as it appears to have been in the pipeline for some time.

Celtic are set to be busy in the transfer window over the remaining days of the window with a number of positions requiring attention. Celtic will want to bring in another striker, another winger and a fullback to offer cover for Kieran Tierney and maybe Alistair Johnston.

Feyenoord’s Calvin Stengs has been linked as has Go Ahead Eagles attacker Jakob Breum but in terms of striking options, there has not been a great deal of links. Bojan Miovski appears to be on the move from Girona with the Spanish side favouring a loan with an obligation to buy or a straight transfer.
