The Irish man who co-wrote the smash-hit song Angels with Robbie Williams is preparing to launch a landmark legal challenge against the global pop icon.

As Williams prepared to sing the ballad to over 80,000 Irish fans at Croke Park last night, Ray Heffernan told the Sunday Independent he is getting ready to “balance the scales” after receiving just £7,500 for the hit that went on to rack up over 650 million streams on Spotify.
