Star jockey Tommy Berry is expecting Raging Force will prove he is a legitimate Golden Rose contender at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.
Raging Force, the Peter Snowden-trained three-year-old who created such a huge impression with three successive wins during June and July faces his moment of truth in the Group 3 $250,000 San Domenico Stakes (1100m).

Berry has ridden Raging Force to brilliant wins at Kensington and Rosehill at his last two starts and has a big opinion of the young sprinter.
“I rode Raging Force to win a trial at Randwick last week and he has come back really well,’’ Berry said.

“He’s only had a few weeks out but has furnished again during that break.
“This is going to be a very hot race on Saturday and that is the reason he is in it to see where he sits among the better three-year-olds.
“He is on the Golden Rose path and hopefully he can prove himself up to that level on Saturday.’’
Raging Force is among 14 quality entries for the San Domenico Stakes although nominations have been extended until 11am on Tuesday.
His likely rivals include Golden Slipper runner-up Wodeton, Blue Diamond winner Devil Night, Silver Slipper winner Beiwacht, talented three-year-olds like Rivellino, State Visit, King Of Pop, Grand Eagle and Memo.

Wodeton is the early San Domenico favourite with TAB at $2.80 ahead of Raging Force ($3.50) and King Of Pop ($4.50).
The Rosehill meeting also features the Group 3 $250,000 Up And Coming Stakes (1300m) which has 18 entries including unbeaten Group 1 ATC Sires Produce Stakes winner Vinrock, last-start Vain Stakes winner Jimmy Recard, and emerging three-year-olds Without Peer, Central Coast, Sixties, Grand Prairie, Tupakara, Fermoy and dual acceptor State Visit.
