The young girl was hurting during a chaotic rampageCatalin Ganciu
A “dangerous” thug ran up to a six-year-old girl and kicked her in the head during a violent rampage on a busy street.
Onlookers were stunned when Catalin Ganciu, 28, targeted the helpless youngster in Millfield, Peterborough, knocking her to the ground with the vicious kick.
Bizarrely, he then stopped to help the child up before fleeing the scene.

The frightened young girl had to be checked over in hospital.
A woman then offered to help him after seeing him waving his arms by fetching him some water from a nearby shop.
But he then followed her inside and punched her in the face before fleeing once more, amid frantic scenes.
Police arrived and the thug lashed out again, punching an officer in the abdomen before being bundled into the back of a police van, where his rage continued as he kicked the interior.
At Cambridge Crown Court on Wednesday, July 16, Ganciu, of Gladstone Street, Peterborough, was locked up for one year and seven months following the violent attacks.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of actual bodily harm, one count of assault by beating of an emergency worker and one count of criminal damage, reports Cambridgeshire Live.
DC Hannah Cooke, who investigated, said: “This was an horrific series of unprovoked attacks by Ganciu, and I have no doubt that his actions will have a lasting impact on the victims.
“He is clearly a very dangerous man who has no respect for other people, or the law.
“Ganciu caused minor injuries to all three of his victims, and the six-year-old girl had to be taken to hospital to be checked over.
“Violence like this is inexcusable, especially towards a young child, and I am pleased he is now behind bars.
